1972 Dodge Charger Rallye
Dodge Charger Rallye. This is a number matching 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye 400 Magnum 4 speed. According to Galen Govier estimations it is 1 of 28 Coupes made with the 400 Magnum and 4 speed. This is a bench seat car with Power Disc Brakes, Manual Steering and also has front and rear sway bars. The car currently has 88,900 miles. I am the 5th Owner and have owned it for 7 years. I know all the owners except the original. The car has been garaged kept since the 2nd owner purchased it in late 1973. This is a very clean car that is arrow straight with a 2 year old paint job, new vinyl top, new Accurate Exhaust system, rechromed bumpers, and new 15" Magnum 500 wheels with new BF Goodrich tires. I do have the original 14" Magnum 500 wheels with good tires. The engine runs great and sounds sweet. The transmission was inspected and found to be in excellent condition. A new Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch and Pressure plate kit was installed. The original radiator was recored. There was a New Fine lines Fuel line, a new Gas Tank and sending unit installed. The Master Cylinder was replaced along with the Inline Tube brake lines front, front to rear and rear with new brake cylinders. Four new KYB Gas shocks were installed.
